At Mozolowski and Murray we've come across lots of good reasons why people want to add a conservatory to their properties but very rarely have we been told that the new extension must be able to accommodate a dining room that can comfortably seat 25 people!

The chosen site at the corner of this imposing, characterful property initially posed a few problems but these were overcome allowing enough space for a generously sized room. The conservatory was designed to blend seamlessly in with the architectural style of the existing building, using stepped gables and peaks to reflect those on the main house. Since we were building such a large structure we introduced different shapes and dimensions to the overall floor plan. This made the interior more interesting and created separate areas for dining and seating.

We sourced natural stone to match the building and a slate grey colour was chosen for the conservatory frames, beautifully echoing the natural colours of the stonework.

Our clients have furnished the conservatory with great taste combining Caithness stone with wrought iron furniture and stylish accessories. The lighting was imported from the States and at night it creates a magical atmosphere, the perfect stage set on which to entertain. So delighted are they with their with their glamorous new space that our clients have now commissioned us to build another conservatory.
