Mozolowski & Murray is committed to the long term satisfaction of our customers. Which means that we want you to be as delighted with your conservatory twenty years on, as you are the day it is completed.

The quality of the materials used in its construction will play a major role in guaranteeing the long life, and high performance, of your conservatory. That's why, when it comes to specifying timber, we are totally uncompromising. Mozolowski & Murray is the only company in Scotland to use 'engineered' hardwood in conservatory construction and combines the use of this exceptional material with advanced microporous wood staining techniques that allow the timber to breathe and provide a protective finish requiring little maintenance.

The composition of engineered or laminated hardwood makes it one of the strongest and most durable timbers available, ideal for use where strength and stability are required. Our experience over many years has taught us that it is the best possible material to withstand the rigours of the Scottish climate. We also take great care to source our timber from well managed forests, in line with our commitment to environmental sustainability.

The source of hardwood used by Mozolowski & Murray is very important. We work with Timbmet Silverman to ensure that suitable timber is supplied from legal forests sources that are well managed.

Mozolowski & Murray hardwood is obtained from Indonesia and Malaysia through a limited number of suppliers that have been evaluated through Timbmet Silverman's supply assessment system. The system works to determine whether the timber or wood contained in the product is traceable to the forest of origin, legally harvested and from a well managed forest. An independent consultancy advises Timbmet Silverman on implementing this system, and provides checks on the validity and veracity of the information we hold on suppliers.

Your conservatory is designed to be a relaxing environment that you will be able to use all year round. If that seems an unexpected bonus from a structure made primarily of wood and glass, it is because we have selected the most technologically advanced materials available.

Every Mozolowski & Murray conservatory incorporates Low Emissivity high performance glass. This Low E glass is the perfect insulating material reflecting heat back into the room and reducing heat loss by over 75%. It is the equivalent of triple glazing and, because it is untinted, has the advantage of letting in more daylight.

Our Low E glass not only makes your conservatory warm in winter, its unique solar protection qualities will keep you cool during the summer months.

In our conservatories you'll find many other features you won't see anywhere else. For example, all floors and dwarf walls are insulated beyond the requirements of Building Regulations to make your room easy to heat and more energy efficient. Advanced gaskets and sealing systems ensure that your conservatory is weatherproof and watertight, from the day it is built.

And the result?... a room that is light and warm even in the depths of a Scottish winter.
